| On 11 June I wrote on this forum: I just spoke to a very helpful man at English Heritage. He was familiar with the pools and had it on his list of ‘to do’s’ on account of his recent contact with the council. He was puzzled that the pools were not listed considering their age but went on to suggest that it may have been that they had been significantly altered (i.e. the roof). He has just gone to get the report on the site and will be emailing it to me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Despite a number of follow up phone calls I have heard nothing from the ‘very helpful man’! He is obviously in contact with the council regarding the pools but is reluctant to share any information with me. Will try again on Monday. |
