While the Belvedere site looks like it will not be re-opening as a pub given the planned tuition centre as per W3 headlines, the Six Bells further up the High Street opposite the Market Square area and closed since Covid I believe, has been undergoing a major outside painting refurbishment.
Does anybody have any news and details on the planned re-opening? Hopefully they will also have done a major improvement of the inside of the pub which always seemed in dire need of extensive TLC despite serving a good standard of beers, especially Guinness. |
