I’ve been asking about this and received the following reply via a representative from the charity Abundance London who attends the parks forum meetings: “Fencing needs to be replaced. Old fencing removed to do dredging. Dye was put in to manage algae growth. Hence peculiar colour - it does go.” I suggested they put notices up explaining what is going on so that we are not all worrying some sort of environmental catastrophe has occurred. If nothing has happened to replace the fencing a month from now I will chase it up via the same route. |
