Shop signs and frontages bigger than .3 square meters and anything illuminated require planning permission. There appears to be no application in the Ealing planning portal. It is possible that the new signage was erected without permission and is therefore a breach of planning regulations and if so we can notify the Council with the link below. https://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/201155/planning_and_building_control/2032/report_a_breach_of_planning_regulations If it is a breach, the owner would have to apply for retrospective planning permissionm to which we could object on the grounds that the signage and colour scheme are out of keeping with the character of area. |
