| A mosaic group of Residents, Councillors, Acton Bid, suppoburted by our MP Rupa Huq first had to convince the Post office to have a branch on the High Street. More difficult than you might think. Then the group worked hard to persuade the Post office to locate the service within the Oaks (parking) or in a vacant building on the High Street which ight offer other services like printing, copying, bulk stationary etc. Ultimately we did not succeed and must gracefully agree and support the new Post office located within a business premises, as Post Office policy demands. We are hopeful the disabled parking spot near the new Post Office will be reinstated and if you could mention this to your local Councillor, it might help. Wishing the new PO every success. |
