Build better bollards! If the idea of them was to protect people from exactly that event, then they were nothing like strong enough. One might ask why such a vehicle was trying to negotiate that narrow residential road and tricky corner. I'd have thought truck-navs would avoid such roads. What route was it planning? Do we have a secret Amazon depot in the South Acton industrial estate? Is this what we'll have to get used to with increased 'investment for growth' from such large international companies? |
