| An ePetition was started to request more service at Acton Main Line. https://ealing.moderngov.co.uk/mgEPetitionDisplay.aspx?id=35 I expected more service than 4x/hour from the station. There is clearly demand as the trains in the morning often impossible to load due to overcrowding. Even late at night, I note >200 people stopping at Acton Main Line after 22h which illustrates the value the stop offers. It's clearly not enough service for section of the city within 7 miles of the city. The branch of the Liz line between Heathrow and the city is clearly what what most needed. 4 trains per hour with many passengers traveling with big luggage is sub-optimal and treats Acton as if it was a borough outside the M25 (eg. Outside the M25, Shenfield has 14 trains/hour that will bring you to Liverpool street, of which 8 to Paddington) Many people, myself included, now look to take the train in lieu of our car/cab.
