Doesn't seem that long ago that 4 trains an hour was a god-send and now we want more? :) There will be more trains to Heathrow before long (May timetable change I think) but no more to Acton Main Line. Which means: we will all need to read the sigage more carefully. At the moment I'm sure I am not alone in thinking Heathrow train = AML - that won't be the case much longer. The "not calling at AML, Hanwell & wherever" is really quite minor. Of course I'd love there to be more trains but AML is not going to be a TfL priority, I think I read it is the least used EL starion, and it had the lowest ticket sales of any Elizabth Line station last year (https://diamondgeezer.blogspot.com/2023/02/the-overgrounds-least-used-ticket-office.html) I would like to know: Where are the bike racks? It was originally claimed all EL stations would have bike racks and given the number of bike chained to the railings it is clear there are none. Shame 'cos that big open space next to the station would be ideal for bike racks. |
