| Having followed the Derwentwater parking debate I feel inspired to raise a similar and yet different issue at the other end of poet's corner; we live in Goldsmith Road and notice that more and more fairly local residents with a K1 permit drive with their car to the Station, or to the local bakery or beauty parlour and park in our road - as they are allowed to of course - maybe not realising that what a nuisance this is causing to us who actually live in that road. They leave their car here for several hours and we often cannot park here now during the day and then, after 3/4pm it is all clear again. In our case it wouldn't help to revert the CPZ to all day, but any other suggestions warmly welcomed! |
