Has anyone else been woken up in the last few nights by a fox barking. He, I assume it's a male as he is quite big, sits in the middle of the road on Friars garden facing towards St Dunstans avenue barking repeatedly at regular intervals. The strange thing is that none of the local dogs seems to even wake up, including my own. Usually a fox in the vicinity  sets her off and all the other dogs join in. When I got up and went to the window to investigate he looked at me and ran away. Is he advertising himself or staking a territory?
