We have free nature events and kid's arts sessions at Gunnersbury Triangle Nature Reserve, Bollo Lane, W4 5LW (opposite Chiswick Park tube). Thursday Aug 1st 11am-4pm Minibeast Mash up Model, draw, collage or paint your favourite minibeasts and display them in the Arthropod gallery. Sunday Aug 4th Dragonflies, butterflies and wildflowers Explore wildlife with local expert John Wells. Guided walk 2 - 4.30 Kids arts and crafts 11-2pm Tuesday Aug 6th & Thursday Aug 9th 11am-4pm Decoupage Delight Make art with cut paper and poetry and stories with word soup Sunday Aug 11th 2pm- 4.30 Brilliant Butterflies Explore the Triangle’s winged beauties with local enthusiast Andy Brown. A guided walk for all ages and abilities. Tuesday Aug 13th 11am-4pm Bug Day Make bug masks and giant recycled insects or hunt for minibeasts with Eleanor from the Natural History Museum’s OPAL project. Thursday Aug 15th 11am-4pm Animal Magic Explore birds and beasts through art, poems and stories Tuesday Aug 20th & Thursday Aug 22nd 11am-4pm Silhouettes and shadows Pinhole cameras, shadow prints and night creature silhouettes Sunday Aug 25th Secret Wild London 11am-4pm Discover the secret lives of the Triangle's creatures - guided walks at 1pm and 3pm. Kids arts and crafts 11-1pm Tuesday Aug 27th & Thursday Aug 29th 11am-4pm Nature patterns Find nature’s patterns and use natural materials to create prints, collages and stencils. Sunday Sept 22nd 2pm- 4.30 Robin’s pin cushions, witches brooms and other galls Plants produce galls when attacked by parasites.
