| Not knowing what day your rubbish is collected is not a problem as long as it is stored in the right and proper fashion ON YOUR FRONTAGE, from where the refuse crews are supposed to collect it. NOT IN THE ROADWAY or ON THE PAVEMENT, where it is a danger for the blind and disabled. (apologies for capitals) Therefore it follows that should the refuse crews be unable to collect your rubbish on whatever day, for whatever reason, it is not causing anyone inconvenience, or breaking any sections of the Highways Act, for which you can be fined. If everyone put their: Plastics into the white bag Garden Waste into the pink bag Wet waste into the green bin Other non-recyclable waste into a black bag (hopefully contained within a black plastic dustbin) on a DAILY basis There should be no problems - simple - like cleaning your teeth !! Why is such a simple thing so difficult????? |
