Management have also been asked to consider asking trains to wait a couple of minutes after the barriers have risen in order to allow customers to cross the crossing and run to their waiting trains. 

Drivers appear to be taking great glee at watching those struggle to get on the train - only to close the doors just as they get onto the platform.
