| "Not cynical - merely curious - always am when a first post is a recommendation or promotion." Why would that make you curious? Or is there a netiquette for this site whereby a newby, has to moan about the state of the place or post the latest planning application, to be accepted by the clique on here? Is not it supposed to be part of the so called community spirit of this forum that local events get a mention by anyone not just the chosen few. I did find it ironic that you questioned the interest of an unknown poster when this site is promoting one of your family no matter how that piece was generated. This site is not just for the vociferous minority but for the many who have varied and different views of life in Acton. |
