| Friday afternoon at 4.15pm and no queues in any direction! Common sense has broken out – simple is best! Some advantages: 1. Much lower installation and maintenance costs compared with traffic signals 2. Less pollution as fewer vehicles waiting in queues 3. Roundabouts cope better with changing demand – unlike most traffic signals 4.
