| The council were 'minded to refuse' but did not make a decision during the required time period which means the developer can appeal. The decision is now in the hands of the inspector who will consider current planning guidance, the objections and merits or otherwise of the development. As an adjoining owner Lawrence you should have the right to be heard but I am not sure whether you have to give notice. If the planning officer is not helpful (they may be constrained in some way) I suggest you contact one of your local councillors asap for advice. Good luck in looking after your interests (and the North China!) but as I have commented before 5 modern stories is probably acceptable for at least part of this site |
