| The new square box they are planning to build will be approx twice the height of the existing depot. Most of it is for private ownership and they expect people to ride bikes and get buses, so virtually no allowance for the idea that any new occupiers might own cars. Obviously those of you who don't live next to it think it is a great idea. I can't wait for all the extra traffic and noise,especially in the summer when all the windows are open. Then, of course, there is the added excitement of having delivery vans pull up at all hours of the day and night, not to mention the extra rubbish blowing down the street from the takeaway burger franchise/betting shop etc. Today (15th) we have received notice from the council (dated 10th) stating that the developers are appealing and that the appeal begins on the 8th July. Oh joy! |
