| I was at the Makers Market this morning and I met Jan who was asking for ideas to spend £90k earmarked for improvements to Acton. I suggested a roving CCTV camera to pick up fly tippers. My favourite site is the one just outside Goddard's vet on Horn Lane. Customers of my beloved Max's coffee shop have to tolerate it as do the many customers of Acton Main Line Station. Its been there at least 10 years to my knowledge. What would you think of installing a camera there with a warning notice to flytippers? Im sure there are other sites as well. I was given a poster to use to communicate with the committee who are considering ideas, but I am not competent to reproduce it here. Any other ideas for spending money? |
