I'm still not entirely convinced that this application is real but rather is an elaborate prank.
It makes no sense. A pub couldn't survive there without flats above it with residents complaining about the noise so you aren't going to be able to get a tenant to take it on. It might be worth keeping an eye on what Ealing Council can and will do to make sure that an active pub is a condition of permission to build and continued occupancy of the flats. The danger is that the upper floors get build and then a few years later the pub is converted to residential because it is unviable. |
