| As a member of the “small Jewish community” of Acton, I’m not sure that’s true. Apart from anything else, it’s small to non-existent round here: there are no places of worship or obviously Jewish businesses to target. But mosques, the Imam’s car and the pastry shop have all been daubed or damaged. Presumably by right-wing hate groups or people. The idiot flag-wavers on the night of 7th October (before any Israeli response) was concerning. But since that nothing round here and I have experienced nothing going about my business in town or going to synagogue frequently in “little Lebanon” off the Edgware Road. |
