| I was very fond of Fed and Watered. It was a real destination restaurant and deserved to survive. So, is there anywhere else in Acton/Ealing to compare? Somewhere else of similar quality that we should all support before it goes the same way as F&W? Unless and until somewhere else more local emerges I’d like to recommend Silver Birch on Chiswick High Road. It’s only a short E3 trip away. It is serving Michelin star quality food at non-Michelin prices. Check out the ChiswickW4 forum, put Silver Birch into the search engine to discover how universally admired it is. It too deserves to survive. But I would dearly love to learn of somewhere similar in W3! |
