One is that we are able to offer much more flexible work visas to people from countries like India, Bangladesh and the Philippines. Initially this will only be able to partially cover the shortfall in sectors such as health, particularly social care, that was created by the loss of European workers after Brexit.

Longer term you could argue that with a weak pound and declining real wages in this country, we wouldn't have been able to attract the number of workers we needed from Europe. The number of people over 85 is set to double in this country over the next 15 years so we are just at the foothills of the demand for social care and already have significant labour shortages. Brexit may help us deal with that problem.

Other than that. I cannot think of a single benefit unless you are an Australian farmer.
