Am I behind the curve here? There were so many customers wearing masks round their necks or chins today I eventually asked a supervisor about the Lidl policy. He told me that Lidl Head office had ruled customers were not to be accosted as it might be necessary to call the police and everyone would just waste time. I thought we had agreed that this virus was more likely to be passed on in food outlets than in schools or residential care homes. If that's true why aren't the supermarkets a little more vigilant on behalf of their staff if not the other customers? |
