TfL have just emailed me to say that they have changed the 440 route permanently from Acton High Street to Gunnersbury Lane. I contacted them a while ago and sent a reminder a month ago to ask why they changed the route without consultation or even a warning to passengers or telling Actonw3.com.
They even had a warning on the Acton Town Hall bus stop indicator saying the 440 was on diversion for gas works in South Acton and drivers had been telling passengers, including me, the 440 was on diversion.
I wonder why no-one was consulted or even told. I wonder why drivers and the indicator were disseminating incorrect information to passengers. |
