Can't speak for Holland Park and wouldn't want to disparage any school, but my nephew finished at Twyford last summer having been faced with a similar choice. He found the teaching to be excellent, particularly in History and English, and is now studying History at Exeter University. His parents said to me that they found the school were very attentive to his needs, encouraged him to read widely and offered an excellent sports and extra curricular programme.
He is still in touch with one of his History teachers, who he considers a great mentor, but I fully understand that people will have to make their own decisions. Hope this helps. |
